*Solicit coaches.
*Organize and host a player evaluation (dates and location will be provided by the Board).
*Divide up teams to make sure they are competitively balanced with the input of coaches. Note: This is required to happen at an in person meeting with the head coach of each team and the commissioner.
*Explain the rules of the League to the coaches and parents and make sure they are followed by all coaches.
*Schedule umpires (Minor and Bronco leagues only).
*Make sure all coaches know their responsibilities when it comes to maintaining the fields before and after games (and make sure they have the equipment to do so).
*Work with the Mars Baseball master scheduler and chief in-house commissioner to create a practice and game schedule.
*Attend Mars Baseball Board meetings during the season to report on your league.
*Provide suggestions and proposed rule changes to improve the league for the following year.
*Deal with any other coach, parent, field and/or league issues that may come up during the course of the season.
