Registration for the Fall 2018 Baseball Season will open in mid July.
All registrations need to be completed online at www.marsbaseball.com. Then click on "Register Now". It is our strong preference to receive payments online via PayPal as well.
We typically offer fall baseball programs in the age groups listed below:
T-Ball/Introduction to Coach Pitch (4U-6U)
Farm (Coach Pitch) (6U-8U)
Minor (Kid Pitch) (9U-10U)
Bronco (11U-12U)
Note that fall baseball is primarily a "weekend" league and 50% to 80% of all games are played on Saturdays and Sundays.
ROSTERS/TEAM ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE POSTED ON THE WEBSITE BY FRIDAY, AUGUST 17.
GAME SCHEDULES WILL BE POSTEDON THE WEBSITE BY FRIDAY, AUGUST 24.
Most players prefer to "move up" in the fall. In other words, parents can register their kids for the age group that they will be playing in the following spring. However, we also offer flexibility such that parents can register their kids for the program based on their current age if they think that is a better fit.
If you have never played fall baseball before, it is great way to develop and play some extra games. The schedule is quite work friendly with most games being played on the weekends. However, before school starts, there may be a couple of week day games.
In addition, the schedules will all be "front loaded" which means that more games will be played in August and September than in October (with the hope that we will be able to take advantage of better weather).
Here are some additional notes about the fall baseball program.
The T-Ball/Introduction to Coach Pitch (4U to 6U) program typically starts the weekend before Labor Day weekend. Teams will be scheduled to play 12 games from 1 pm to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The goal is for teams to play 10 games after rainouts.
The Farm (6U to 8U) program typically starts the weekend before Labor Day weekend. Teams will be scheduled to play 14 games between noon and 6 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The goal is for teams to play 10-12 games after rainouts.
The Minor (9U to 10U) and the Bronco (11U to 12U) programs may start two weekends before Labor Day weekend. Teams will be scheduled to play 14 games between 10 am and 6 pm on Saturdays and between noon and 6 pm on Sundays. Some games may be scheduled during the week. Additionally, games likely will be played against neighboring associations. The goal is for teams to play 10-12 games after rainouts.
We typically schedule all leagues to play at least one game on Labor Day weekend. The weather seems to be getting colder earlier in October so we try to take advantage of "baseball weather" and front load the schedule by playing more games in September than October.
