Please read about all three of our Farm Leagues prior to registering.
Here is some general information that applies to all three of our Farm Leagues:
Registration: Register online at www.marsbaseball.com and pay online. Registration ends on February 28.
Team Announcements: You will receive notification of your child’s team placement on or before March 28, 2022.
Practices: Practices will begin on or after April 2. Teams will be scheduled to practice once or twice each week from April 2 through Baseball Opening Day.
Practice Times: Practices will be scheduled at 6 pm on Monday through Friday and on Saturday. Baseball Opening Day has not been officially scheduled yet but likely will be April 23. All teams will play at least one game and pictures will be taken.
Season Length (games): Baseball Opening Day through June 18th.
Typical Game Schedule: 12 scheduled games per team. We will make every effort to make sure that every team plays a minimum of 10 games (weather permitting).
Games Per Week: Typically two games per week (including the weekends).
Practice and Game Locations: Adams 1&2, Adams Township Park.
Player Requests: If two players want to play with each other, both must submit the same request. Although we cannot guarantee any placement request, we will try to honor placement requests between 2 players so long as both request to play together and we can still maintain a proportional balance of ages and abilities on 6U and 7U teams. No requests to play for a certain coach are permitted.

Equipment Provided/Equipment Needed: The league provides hats, jerseys and practice/game balls. Players will also need to purchase a bat, helmet, gray baseball pants and cleats and may want to purchase a bat bag.

The Farm American League (6U as of April 30, 2022)
What: Coach pitch league
Ages: Players who are 6 years old as of April 30, 2022. First year coach pitch players may play in this league upon request.
Rules: A Reduced Injury Factor (RIF) baseball will be used. It is the same size as a regulation baseball, but it is softer. Batters will receive 8 pitches from the coach. If they don't hit the ball, then they will have the opportunity to hit the ball with soft toss. The entire season is coach pitch. Games are 5 innings in length with a time limit of one and half hours.
Team Assignments: Players will be placed on teams without a formal player evaluation. The Commissioner will attempt to balance teams based on the age of the players and the known skill level of the players.

The Farm National 7U League (7U ONLY as of April 30, 2022)
What: Coach pitch league
Ages: Players who are 7 as of April 30, 2022
Rules: We use a standard little league baseball in the Farm 7 league that is harder than the Reduced Injury Factor ball used in the Farm American league. Batters will receive 7 pitches from the coach. If they don't hit the ball or have 3 swinging strikes, the batter is out. The entire season is coach pitch. Games are 6 innings in length with a two hour time limit.
Team Assignments: Players will be placed on teams without a formal player evaluation. The Commissioner will attempt to balance teams based on the age of the players and the known skill level of the players.

The Farm National 8U League (8U ONLY as of April 30, 2022)
What: Coach pitch/transition to kid pitch league
Ages: Players who are 8 as of April 30, 2022
Rules: We use a standard little league baseball in the Farm 8 league that is harder than the Reduced Injury Factor ball used in the Farm American league. On Opening Day, the games will be 6 innings of coach pitch. For every other game during the season, the games will be 4 innings of coach pitch and 2 innings of kid pitch. During the coach pitch portion of the game, batters will receive 7 pitches from the coach. If they don't hit the ball or have 3 swinging strikes, the batter is out. During the kid pitch portion of the game, the batters are out after three strikes but a coach will finish pitching an at bat after four balls. Games are 6 innings in length with a two hour time limit.
Team Assignments: Players will be placed on teams after a formal player evaluation at No Offseason Baseball. All registered players are requested to attend. At an in person meeting with the Commissioner and Head Coach of each team, teams will be balanced based on the evaluated skill level of the players.
